Grip'N'Rip Baseball League Playoffs

An Eliminator round, a semifinal double header, and the Howard Bell Championship.

Three Sundays to a title

The postseason runs over consecutive Sundays: division winners take a first-round bye while the rest meet in the Eliminator round, survivors play a semifinal double header the following week, and the two remaining clubs contest the Howard Bell Championship. There is no clock in the playoffs, the ten-run rule applies until the final, and the championship is played as natural baseball however long it takes. One weekend is held in reserve past the championship, used only if the final itself is rained off.

Season X's title went to the Mavericks 2-1 with the tying run on base at the last out, in what was one manager's fourth championship appearance in ten years. High Cheese builds and runs a bracket off the standings the season already produced — byes, Eliminator and all — so the seeding is set the moment the last regular-season Sunday goes final.
