Who the Lowell Angels are
Lowell Angels are an adult baseball club in the 28+ Boston Division of the Boston Metro Baseball League, playing home games at Campbell Field in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The club finished 11-3-1 in fifteen games and outscored their opponents by 73 runs, closing the season on five straight wins.
The BMBL was the Boston Men's Baseball League from 1988 until 2021 and a chapter of MABL/MSBL nationally for thirty-four years. It went independent in 2022 and changed the middle word to Metro, partly because the league had grown out past Boston and partly because it had not been men only for decades. Lowell Angels play under the second name.
A club whose whole public record is 11-3-1 on somebody else's team list is the case High Cheese was built for, and Lowell Angels are exactly that.
