Laid back, and competitive
The LBCBL has the most honest name in this directory, because it admits the contradiction every adult league lives inside: men who want the game played properly and want to go to work on Monday. Its mission says nothing about winning. It commits to bettering the communities it plays in while giving local adults a place to continue playing baseball, and to giving back through monetary donations, facility improvement projects and community outreach.
Its site is candid about being unfinished — please excuse us while we are under construction — and carries a 2025 champion, a home run derby, and two registration forms. High Cheese gives a league one address it owns with the schedule, the table and every roster on it, so a competition that has already worked out what it is for does not have to build a website to prove it exists.
