An island league, unrecorded
Nantucket is thirty miles into the Atlantic with about fourteen thousand year-round residents and a summer population several times that. An adult baseball league there is a genuinely unusual object -- there is no next town over, no neighbouring league, and no possibility of a player driving in.
Our directory holds a name and nothing else. No website, no social page, no listing.
Every league in this directory depends on being findable, but an island league depends on it absolutely, because its recruitment pool is either already on the island or has to plan a ferry around a Saturday.
A High Cheese league page is a permanent address with the schedule, the ground and every roster rendered as pages -- readable from the mainland in March by somebody deciding whether to spend a summer working out there. Which on Nantucket is not a marginal question but the entire roster.
