Who the Avi Nelson Rockies are
Avi Nelson Rockies are an adult baseball club in the 38+ Masters Division of the Boston Metro Baseball League, playing home games at Libby Field in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
The club finished 5-5 in ten games and were outscored by three runs, closing the season on a win.
The BMBL was the Boston Men's Baseball League from 1988 until 2021 and a chapter of MABL/MSBL nationally for thirty-four years. It went independent in 2022 and changed the middle word to Metro, partly because the league had grown out past Boston and partly because it had not been men only for decades. Avi Nelson Rockies play under the second name.
The 38+ Masters Division table, the ballpark in Weymouth and the Avi Nelson Rockies schedule are three separate pages on bostonmabl.com, and High Cheese is where they are one.
