The lone 38+ club in the Boston league
The Cambridge Nine are an adult baseball club playing the 38+ division of the Boston Amateur Baseball League, Massachusetts. They went 4-8 in 2026 under manager Rich Minasian.
Every other club in this league plays 50+. Cambridge is the only side recorded in a 38+ bracket, which means it is either a division of one or a club that plays up against men a decade older.
The Nine is the number of players it takes to field a side, which puts Cambridge alongside Lake Crystal 9 in Minnesota as the only clubs in this directory named after an integer.
A club alone in its own age bracket is the clearest possible case for a High Cheese page explaining what it actually plays, because the league's dropdown does not.
