The uniform rule, in full
A complete uniform is a jersey with team name or logo on the front, a unique number on the back, baseball pants, cleats and sanitary socks. Every jersey on a club must be identical in design. Any player attempting to share a jersey is ejected immediately. No official league game may be played unless both teams field at least nine completely uniformed players, and the managers cannot agree to waive it. A player out of uniform is illegal and ineligible. Managers and coaches must wear a team jersey, team cap and baseball pants to coach the bases. Piping does not have to match.
The rule takes effect before game three, and the league publishes its bylaws, a protest form and a minor release alongside it.
That is a league that has been burned and wrote down exactly how. It is also a rule somebody has to enforce at a field in the Inland Empire on a Sunday. High Cheese keeps a league's own rules beside its schedule, where the argument actually happens.
