Open, for next year
The league keeps Join The YBL as a top-level navigation item and a Liability Form under its About section.
With play suspended for 2026, what a prospective player is joining is a 2027 return.
That is an unusual thing to recruit for and an honest one, and the league's stated commitment to remaining active and engaged is what makes it credible.
A join page and a free agent pool at the league's own address is what keeps a suspended league's interest list alive between seasons -- which for an organisation planning to put five franchises back on the field is the difference between returning and restarting.
