Beyond its own season
The league keeps a tournaments section and a page for national, regional and local tournaments, and tells its members plainly what its newsletter is for: keeping managers, players, umpires and fans posted on tournaments and on league-sponsored charities.
A league running charitable work alongside six divisions is doing more than baseball, and its own communications treat both as league business.
It adds a caution worth noting: this communication is not intended to take the place of your manager.
A championship recorded on a High Cheese league page keeps the bracket, the final and the winning roster attached to the season, so tournament results sit beside league ones rather than in a separate annual page.
