Twenty-six teams in year one
The league launched Legends in 2025 to offer clubs an option outside its standard 18+ skill divisions, and welcomed twenty-six teams in that first spring. For 2026 it opened registration at all three levels — 35+, 45+ and 35+ Premier — and says it is looking to grow them, offering a fifteen-game schedule played on some of the best fields in New Jersey.
Twenty-six clubs in a division's first season is the fastest start recorded anywhere in this directory, and it happened because the league already had the 18+ population to draw from. High Cheese carries a new division on the same address as the existing ones, with its own tables and rosters, so a programme that grows from nothing to twenty-six clubs is visible while it happens rather than described afterwards.
