Who gets the leftover baseballs
There is no store, but there is the best-legislated equipment rule in this directory. Only NABA league baseballs may be used. Each team receives three and a half dozen of them as part of its league fees, and if a team runs out before the season ends it is told to ask for more. Each side hands the umpires three new balls per regular season game, six between them. Dirty or exhausted balls get replaced with used ones during the season and with new ones in the tournament, and damaged balls always come out of play.
Then the line that gives the league away: at the end of each game the balls are divided evenly between the teams to be used for practice, and the winning team should get the larger of the two sets.
Bats are solid wood or wood composite with no metal, and a player caught with an unapproved one is out and warned. That is a league that has thought about every object on the field and who owns it afterwards.
