Two titles a year, all of them recorded
The championships page lists a winner for every spring and summer season: West Maui Brewers in Spring 2026, Kihei Centipedes in four of the five seasons before it, Upcountry Dirtbags in Spring 2024, and back through the Central Rays' eight titles in their first fourteen seasons, the Lahaina Warriors, the Makena Royals and the Dirtbags' three championships in four seasons.
Every season's awards are published beside them with the numbers that earned them: a Most Valuable Player at .541 with 20 hits, 15 runs and 13 RBI in his third season; a Cy Young winner at 8-1 with a 1.63 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 49.2 innings, who took Rookie of the Year in the same season; and a Manager of the Year credited with a 2-8 record and his club's first playoff win. Twenty-seven seasons of awards are selectable, alongside a Batting Champion, a Gold Glove, and an award for the player who best exemplifies the game through sportsmanship, community involvement and positive contributions on and off the field.
Giving Manager of the Year to a man who went 2-8 and won a playoff game tells you exactly what this league values. High Cheese builds and runs a bracket off the standings a season produced and keeps the champion and the award winners attached to the year, so a list this long stays tied to the games that made it.
