Open at 21, on an island with one league
The league is open to ages 21 and over and publishes a player waiver as its own page, alongside its rules and field maps. It currently carries over 120 active players across seven clubs in its 34th season.
Maui has one adult baseball league and it was built from nothing in 2009 by a man putting signs by the road because there was nowhere to play. Its whole growth curve — two teams, then four, six, seven, eight, and back to seven — is written into its history. A High Cheese free agent pool puts every unattached man in front of all seven managers on the league's own page, which is the modern version of the roadside sign.
