Priced on the public page
The league publishes what officials cost: $70 a game for seven innings and $90 for nine, listed openly beside the team and player fees.
Publishing the umpire rate tells a manager exactly what his club is buying and where his fee goes, and almost nobody else in this directory will put that number in public. It also explains the two-hour limit — five games a day on one field only works if the crews turn over. No assignor or individual official is named. On High Cheese the crew attaches to the fixture, so who worked a game and what it cost are part of the same record.
