Two states, and the turf goes first
The league publishes its venues with the calendar attached: Raytown High School turf from April through June, then from July to September a rotation of Blue Valley Southwest High School turf, Creekside Baseball Complex in Parkville, Capital Federal Baseball Complex in Liberty, Homefield Baseball Complex in Kansas City, Kansas, and Macken Park in North Kansas City. The 40+ division plays Sundays at Oak Park High School; the 55+ splits Thursdays between Raytown and Cap Fed.
Starting the season on turf and moving to grass complexes once the spring is out is a decision about mud, not preference, and saying so on the page tells a player what April looks like. High Cheese ties the ballpark, the address and the map to the fixture, so a Sunday that has moved from Raytown to Parkville arrives with directions.
