Go hard or go play softball
The KCABA was established in 2008 and runs wood bat baseball in three divisions: 18+ playing seven-inning doubleheaders on Sundays, 40+ playing seven-inning games on Sundays, and 55+ playing seven innings on Thursdays. The 2026 season opens April 2 and plays Sundays and Thursdays only, excluding holiday weekends. Each division gets an all-star game and playoffs. Its own motto sits at the foot of every page: go hard or go play softball.
What makes it unusual is what it guarantees. The 18+ schedules thirty-plus games with twenty-five guaranteed, the 55+ twenty with eighteen guaranteed, the 40+ fifteen with thirteen. Nobody else in this directory puts a floor under a season in writing. High Cheese gives a league one address carrying all three divisions' fixtures, tables and rosters, so a guarantee that specific is something a player can check rather than take on trust.
