Written separately for each division
The league publishes local league rules in three documents: a general set, a set specific to the 25+ division and a set specific to the 40+. The structural rules appear in its announcements — twenty-game seasons in both divisions, two games a week, Saturday makeups for midweek rainouts, double elimination at the end, and a mandatory signed waiver before any player takes the field.
Writing a separate rulebook for the older division rather than bolting exceptions onto one document is the correct decision and almost nobody makes it.
