A traffic light for every diamond
The league lists twenty-two venues with addresses and maps — Austin Junior High in Decatur, both Bob Jones fields, Columbia, Decatur Heritage, Decatur High, Discovery Middle, Grissom, Hazel Green, both James Clemens fields, Jemison, John Paul II, Journey Middle, Lee, Madison Academy, Randolph, Sparkman High, Sparkman Middle, Sparkman Park, The Rock and UAH Charger Park, plus a TBD.
Better than that, its front page runs a live field status board keyed red, amber and green: not accessible, accessible pending approval, and accessible for specific times only. Nothing else in this directory publishes the availability of borrowed high school diamonds, which for a league running two games a week on twenty-two grounds is the whole operational problem. High Cheese ties the ballpark, the address, the map and its access status to the fixture itself, so the traffic light travels with the game.
