Everybody gets in
The 2026 structure ends in full playoffs featuring all eight teams, played as expanded single games with paid umpires, after division play has already moved from seven-inning doubleheaders to nine-inning singles.
Taking all eight in is the right call for a league of that size — nobody's season ends in August because of a bad June — and it also means the seeding matters more than the qualification. High Cheese builds and runs that bracket off the standings the season already produced, so the field is set the moment the last Sunday is final.
