Nine innings, no matter how long it takes
The regular season is seven innings a game. The playoffs are not: every league playoff game must be played to completion at nine innings, and if rain or darkness stops one it is suspended at that point and resumed later until all nine are finished.
That is a league that treats its postseason as a different standard of occasion, and it is the clearest signal in the rulebook of how seriously the championship is taken.
Helmet rules are extended explicitly to national tournament play, so the league's teams also compete beyond it.
A championship recorded on a High Cheese league page keeps the bracket, the final and the winning roster attached to the year, so a suspended nine-inning final reads as the game it actually was.
