Answered by the rulebook
Age: 25 and over, with an ex-pro status section governing who else qualifies. Bats: wood only, in the regular season and in tournaments, with an out awarded on protest for anything else. Cleats: metal permitted. Game length: seven innings, two hours fifteen, starting at nine or half past eleven in the morning. Season: fourteen games from May to September, then playoffs at nine innings.
Balls: official Rawlings MSBL, six a game, league-provided only.
What is nowhere: the fee, the registration deadline, and how a man without a team gets onto one of the rosters.
A High Cheese league page states the fee beside the season it buys, on the same page as the join form and the rules a player is agreeing to.
