Five months, fourteen games
The season runs May to September: fourteen regular season games, then playoffs and a league championship, with morning starts at nine and half past eleven.
Rainouts are made up in the order they were cancelled rather than slotted wherever there is space, which is a fairer rule and a harder one to administer.
No opening day or registration deadline is published.
A season entered once on a High Cheese league page dates itself into every player's own calendar, and a make-up game inserted in cancellation order moves in the same place everyone is already looking.
