Nearly a year of Majors
The league publishes two season windows to the day. Fall, for A, AA and AAA, runs 30 August to 22 November. Majors runs 22 February to 18 October -- close to eight months, which is a different commitment entirely and tells you what the top division is for.
Tryouts are dated and located: 23 August at 10am, El Cariso Park.
Precise windows like these are exactly what a prospective player needs and exactly what gets stale on a homepage. A season entered once on a High Cheese league page dates itself into every player's own calendar, tryout included, and the following year's dates replace them without anyone editing a paragraph.
