Two questions left over
It is 18 and over. There are four levels, A through Majors. Fall runs 30 August to 22 November and Majors runs 22 February to 18 October. The next tryout is 23 August at 10am at El Cariso Park. Games have two umpires and statistics are kept. Entry is through the Player Pool, and a player can be picked up mid-season without waiting for a tryout.
What a season costs is not stated anywhere. Neither is where, beyond high school and college fields across LA County.
Price and drive time are the two things that decide whether an adult in Los Angeles plays baseball. A High Cheese league page answers both on the same page as the join button -- the fee beside the season, the ground beside every game.
