If you want to play, we will find a spot for you
Every year the league hosts a tryout open to the public, with teams present to draft attendees playing the positions they need. Then it answers the question that keeps people away: what if I don't get drafted? If there are more players at the tryouts than there are teams in need, it is common for us to create a new team from players at the draft. If you want to play, we will find a spot for you.
If you cannot make the tryout, email and tell them about yourself and your baseball experience and they will help you find a team. If you would rather bring a whole club, they will walk you through it. Creating a new team out of the undrafted is how four clubs became twenty-six. A High Cheese free agent pool runs on the league's own page all season, so the men who arrive after the draft are as visible as the ones who came to it.
