Pointed at the tryout
The league keeps a news section with several items linked from its front page, alongside a prominent Registration button — the announcements that matter for a competition whose whole intake runs through one public tryout and draft each spring.
For a league adding teams every year, the news is the recruitment. A league on High Cheese gets a wire where finals post themselves as the books are finalized, so the announcements stay for the tryout and the season fills the page in between.
