Amendments kept, not merged
The league publishes its rules as a running document with each year's changes dated and preserved: 2016 balk rule, 2017 shared lineup, 2018 Anderson rule, 2019 tournament format and the Anderson rule made permanent, and a note that the 2020 season was abbreviated by Covid and ended on September 27 with no playoffs.
Keeping the amendment history rather than folding everything into a clean rulebook means a manager can see when a rule arrived and why — and it preserves the record of a season that was cut short. High Cheese keeps a league's rules and their history beside the schedule, so an amendment is attached to the season it took effect in.
