Let's play two
The M50BL takes its cornerstone from Ernie Banks and means it literally: mostly six-inning doubleheaders on one weekend day each week, from the first week of June to the last weekend of September, with an optional seven-inning game midweek. No games on Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, the Fourth of July or Labor Day weekends. The season ends with a one-day league tournament on the last weekend of September.
Its age rule is the friendliest in this directory: your M50BL birthday is January 1st of the season in which you plan to play — happy belated birthday. And its statement of purpose is a challenge: in the beginning it was a gentleman's game, come back and help us restore that respect for the game. High Cheese gives a league one address it owns with the schedule, the tables and every roster on it, so a league built on men arranging their own fixtures has somewhere those fixtures live.
