Five weekends nobody plays
The season runs from the first week of June to the last weekend of September, on one weekend day a week, and the league explicitly clears five weekends: Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day. It ends with a one-day league tournament on the final weekend of September. The 2026 season starts May 31.
Writing five family weekends out of the calendar in advance is the single most considerate scheduling decision in this directory — for men over fifty, those are the weekends grandchildren visit. A High Cheese calendar carries the whole year including the weekends left deliberately empty, and syncs to every player's phone.
