A summer, and the meetings that build it
The season runs eighteen to twenty regular season games across a Minnesota summer, played weekends from late morning through early evening, and finishes in the State Tournament in August. The league's own year starts earlier than that: the Winter Meeting is where new franchises are voted in, followed by March and April meetings before a ball is thrown.
Publishing the administrative calendar as well as the playing one is rare and useful — a man forming a club knows he is aiming at a winter vote. A High Cheese calendar carries the whole of it and subscribes to a player's phone, so a rescheduled Saturday in June reaches four divisions at once.
