Who the Spooner Cardinals are
The Spooner Cardinals are an adult baseball club in the Independent League, northwestern Wisconsin.
They finished 5-7 across twelve games, fourth of five on winning percentage, and outscored their opponents by six runs.
They keep a site of their own at spoonercardinals.com, which few clubs here do.
The league is one of six the Wisconsin Baseball Association runs, alongside the Chippewa River, Dairyland, Mississippi Valley, St. Croix Valley, Independent and Upper 13 leagues.
The Independent League owns the page 5-7 is printed on, and High Cheese gives the Spooner Cardinals one of their own.
