The small half
This is the Small division of the Wisconsin Dairyland League, and like its larger counterpart it has no address in our records -- no website, no social page, no listing.
The small division is the one that matters most here. A village team is always one or two departures from folding, and the thing that saves it is a man from the next town over who hears there is a spot. In a league organised by town size, that man has further to travel and less reason to know.
Word of mouth works in a valley and fails across a county.
A High Cheese league page is a permanent address with the schedule, the grounds and every roster rendered as pages, findable by somebody twenty miles away who has never heard of the village but is looking for a game. Which is the whole survival mechanism for baseball at this scale.
