Kept in prose
The league's numbers exist, they are just written out as sentences: five hits in an eighteen-hit attack, four innings of no runs on three hits, three hits apiece from two men in a thirteen-run night, five innings allowing one run of which none were earned. The recaps distinguish earned from unearned runs, which means somebody is scoring these games properly.
None of it is aggregated anywhere. Statistics on High Cheese fall out of the box score as it is entered and follow a player between clubs and seasons, so a league that already separates earned runs from unearned gets a season leaderboard for free.
