Nine innings, with a door at seven
The league publishes a 2026 rulebook of its own. Its recaps show the format in practice: games go nine innings, with a ten-run mercy rule in effect after seven — the 2021 championship ended in the bottom of the seventh with the Monarchs needing one run to close it out, and getting it as a walk-off.
A mercy rule that can end a title game on a walk-off is an unusual piece of drafting and it produced one of the better endings in this directory. High Cheese keeps a league's own rules beside its schedule and computes the result from the game, so a seven-inning finish is recorded as the rulebook intends.
