Southwest Washington Adult Baseball League

Joining the Southwest Washington Adult Baseball League

Two routes, and the league is emphatic about which one you want.

Do not complete this form

The registration page opens with an instruction in capitals: if you are already on a team, use the player registration link, and do not complete this form if you are a new player looking to get drafted. New players are sent instead to the free agent list.

That is a league that has had enough people register for a team they are not on.

The free agent route is a brief survey, and it comes with a piece of consideration most leagues skip: if you already signed up for the tryouts and new player draft but could not attend or were not drafted, you are already on the list and do not need to re-submit. A team manager will contact you.

There is also a warning about accounts -- if you have already set one up, do not create another; one account covers more than one team and more than one season.

Every one of those notes exists because somebody got confused. A High Cheese join page routes a player to the right form by knowing whether he is already on a roster, which removes all three problems at once.
