Who the Matanzas are
The Matanzas are an adult baseball club in the 35+ American division of the South Florida Baseball League, playing in and around Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach.
They finished 8-2 for 16 points, a winning percentage of .800, and came out +71 on runs across ten games.
The league credits them with no championships. They play home games at West Perrine Park.
Thirty clubs play here across those four tables, from Miami Lakes down to Delray Beach, which is a long way to drive for a Sunday morning game.
8-2 for 16 points is one row of a league table, and a High Cheese page is where the ten games behind it live.
