What the Matanzas hit and pitched
The South Florida Baseball League publishes a batting line per player on each club's own page, with at bats, runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, runs batted in, walks, average, on base percentage and OPS.
For the Matanzas the columns are printed and empty: sixteen players listed and not one number filled in.
The Matanzas put up 11.1 runs a game while allowing 4.0 across ten games.
A batting table with every cell showing a dash is a promise the league has built the page for and not yet kept.
An empty batting table is worse than no table, and High Cheese computes a Matanzas season line off the scorecards so the columns have something in them.
