The league keeps a news archive and posts into it through the year, and the substantial item is the weekly results round-up -- every doubleheader, both ends, with pitchers of record and their season lines. Alongside it sits the current stat leaders release, updated through late July.
Writing that up every week for ten clubs across two conferences is real work, done by someone, all summer.
News on a High Cheese league page goes out to the schedules the players already carry, and a weekly round-up becomes the games themselves rather than a post that has to be retyped from the scoresheets.
