The way in was a guest book
The league's last published recruitment notice reads: looking for new players who want to play in the NE Wisconsin MSBL for the 2021 season, must be age 18 and over, please go to the more section and sign the guest book.
Running a player pool through a platform's guest book is what a small league does with the tools it has, and it means the pool exists only as a list of comments nobody outside can see. That notice is now the most recent thing on the site. A High Cheese free agent pool runs on the league's own page all season and shows every manager who is available, so recruitment does not depend on a stranger finding a guest book under a More menu.
