Introduced, not just listed
The league opens its board page by saying what it is: volunteers passionate about expanding the New Mexico adult baseball community, with an invitation to join them. Then it introduces all three. Bryan Deshayes, President and manager of the Duke City Angels, fifteen years in the baseball community. Matt Reeder, Vice President and manager of the Colt 45s, in his first year on the board. And Chris Maxwell, Secretary — past president for over a decade, credited as a key contributor to building the relationships in Albuquerque that provided field and playing opportunities to thousands of players.
Keeping a former president of ten years on the board as secretary, and saying openly that the fields exist because of relationships he built, is the most gracious piece of institutional writing in this directory. High Cheese hands those roles real permissions on the league's own page, so a secretary who knows every field contact can maintain them himself.
