Real baseball, and it says so
The NMABL is an Albuquerque and Santa Fe based amateur organization for players 18+ and 30+, and it describes itself in six words: this is real baseball — spikes, wood bats, and solid competition. All games are Sundays, starting at 8am and running through 6pm. The season typically runs March to October: approximately twenty regular season games followed by a double elimination tournament.
It is also precise about geography, which matters in a state this size: some travel to Santa Fe or Los Lunas, but ninety percent of games are played in the Albuquerque, Bernalillo and Rio Rancho area. Telling a player up front that one game in ten is a drive is more useful than any promise about quality. High Cheese gives a league one address it owns with the schedule, the standings and every roster on it, so the ten percent that travels knows which Sunday it is.
