Every division described in its own voice
The league writes a paragraph for each level rather than a line. The 18+ strictly abides by MLB rules, fostering top-level competition, and plays mainly Sunday nights. The 25+ is competitive and challenging at post-collegiate level, blending sharp skills, mental toughness and game knowledge that only comes with experience, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The 35+ trades some of that for freedom and flexibility — free substitution in and out of the game — on Mondays. The 45+ is described as full of outstanding players still making their mark, on Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings. The 55+ gets the best sentence: don't let that large number fool you, these guys can still play, and they are some of the classiest and funniest guys around.
The 62+ and 70+ are put together with a challenge — 62 and 70 year olds still playing competitive baseball, it's true, still have what it takes? Writing a distinct sales pitch for each of seven brackets is why nine hundred men know which one they belong in. High Cheese keeps a league's rules and its divisions beside the schedule and against the rosters, so the free-substitution rule at 35+ is on the page the 35+ men actually read.
