A merger, and a division that did not exist before
RLB was formed in 2013 through a merger of Milwaukee MSBL and the Milwaukee Baseball League — two established competitions in one city becoming one. Since then it has grown to over sixty teams and nine hundred players, and added a 70+ division it describes as newly formed.
Merging rather than competing is the rarest event in this directory: everywhere else, two leagues in one metro carry on separately until one folds. And a 70+ bracket is the natural endpoint of doing it — enough men in one place to fill it. No champion or past season is published for any of the seven divisions. Every season played on High Cheese keeps itself as standings, box scores and rosters together, so the first 70+ season is recorded by the act of playing it.
