The complex publishes its policies plainly: beware of fly balls, foul balls, errant throws and loose bats; obey all posted warnings; no dogs or other pets on the grounds; keep children under direct supervision; no carry-in food or beverages; no sunflower seeds on the playing fields or in the dugouts; no gum on the playing field or in the dugouts. And one line that sets it apart from everywhere else in this directory: The Rock is a peanut free facility.
Banning seeds and gum protects a synthetic infield built to major league specification; going peanut free protects somebody's kid in the stands. A league also publishes a current player waiver, required from everyone. High Cheese keeps a venue's own rules attached to the fixture and a league's documents against the roster, so a man knows what he cannot bring before he packs the car.
