Written down, including the daylight rule
The league publishes both its rules and its bylaws as standing pages. The most telling rule is on the 62+ division page: it is open to all players 60 and over — to start it out, the league says, leaving room to move the line — plays early Monday evenings, and all games will be complete before lights are needed.
Setting an age floor and admitting it is provisional, then guaranteeing every game finishes in daylight, is a league designing around its members rather than its fields. High Cheese keeps a league's rules beside its schedule and against its rosters, so a division-specific rule reaches the men it applies to.
