Plate umpire and field umpire, printed
Every fixture on this league's schedule carries two extra columns nobody else in this directory fills: Plate Ump and Field Ump, each with a name against it. A single 62+ Monday in June lists one man behind the plate and another in the field, and the pairing changes week by week across the season.
There is a Lead Umpire Coordinator on the board, and the league keeps a whole umpires calendar of its own. One of the men working these games is also the league's IT Coordinator, which is how a volunteer organisation actually functions. Naming both officials publicly is the strongest possible statement that the league stands behind them. On High Cheese the crew attaches to the fixture itself, so an assignment is part of the game's record rather than a column somebody types.
