Two shapes of week
The league plays Sunday mornings from 8:30 across every division, with afternoon fixtures behind them, and weeknight games under a policy introduced for 2025 and restated for 2026: all weeknight games are seven innings. No new inning may begin after two hours forty-five.
Shortening the midweek game rather than starting it earlier is the correct trade for men who work — the alternative is a 9:30pm ninth inning at Bay Park. A High Cheese calendar carries the whole year across six divisions and syncs to every player's phone, so a Wednesday cut short and a Sunday moved to a turf field both reach the men playing them.
