The league publishes every venue with an address: Adelphi University at 1 South Avenue in Garden City, St. John's, Glen Cove Stadium, Doubleday Stadium, Fairfield Properties Ballpark, Baseball Heaven, PAL Stadium, Mitchel Field, Eisenhower Park's A, B and C diamonds, Cantiague, Bay Park, Wantagh, Seaman's Neck, North Woodmere, Zahn's, half a dozen high schools and a middle school. Turf fields are flagged individually in the name.
Marking which grounds are turf is the single most useful piece of metadata a Long Island league can publish, because it decides which games survive an April Sunday. Forty-five venues across two counties is a scheduling operation of real size. High Cheese ties the ballpark, the address, the map and its surface to the fixture itself, so a man knows before he leaves Massapequa whether the game at Bay Park is on.
