The door is a direct message
The league's standing announcement is blunt: no registration forms available. Its instruction to anybody interested is to reach out through one of its social media outlets, with the Facebook and Instagram links at the bottom of the page.
For a league that promises guaranteed playing time to men who have not played in a decade, asking them to message a Facebook account is a longer walk than it looks. A High Cheese join page carries the terms and a free agent pool underneath, so a man who has just read that he will get playing time can put his name down in the same minute rather than composing a message to strangers.
