Four clubs, one town
The league fields the Lexington Bombers, Lexington Knights, Lexington Stallions and Lexington Warriors. Every club carries the city's name rather than a sponsor's or a neighbourhood's, and the Stallions are Kentucky to the bone.
Four clubs means each side sees the other three constantly, which is what makes a guaranteed-playing-time rule workable and a bad match-up impossible to hide from. No roster or player is published for any of them. Rosters on High Cheese update as men sign and follow a player between clubs and seasons, so four clubs are four pages a man can look at before deciding which one he would rather face.
